Beautiful clean water is what every pool owner wants, in a family or a public pool.
To obtain this, two operations must be seriously
carried out: mechanical action to filter
the water and chemical action to treat it.
Without filtration, with a poor installation, with a badly kept filter or one that doesnt work:
the water is cloudy, full of debris and shortly you are no longer able to see the bottom of the pool at the waters surface (at occupant head level) hair, insects, mucus, scabs, perspiration, cosmetics, suntan oil float
Filtration and efficient maintenance will make this debris disappear.
To kill the germs that are responsible for illness:
Fungus (mycosis), bacteria (streptococcus, staphylococcus, salmonella, legionella), viruses (polio, hepatitis A). Neither hepatitis B nor AIDS can develop in pool water and the virus responsible for verruca develops on the ground, shower, surrounding area.
If they are not destroyed theses germs can cause skin, digestive, eye, nose and throat disorders like ear ache, sore throat, conjunctivitis, mycosis, furunculosis, rash, diarrhea. Whereas, with the appropriate chemical treatment, the water becomes clean, free from illness causing germs, and more.
You must remember that pool water is not only polluted by the users but also by:
wind and air pollution (leaves and dust convey germs), insects and small animals of all sorts, the vegetation around the pool: grass, pollen, petals the soil, especially when plants border the pool,
the water supply : the public water
supply is safe but well water is not necessarily
safe,
people who dont use the pool and whose shoes are always dirty, treatment products that are inappropriate or not correctly dosed.
